Lulu’s sink got Shamrocked

The picture above was posted to Lulu’s Facebook page along with this message. To the woman who unwisely used the men’s room sink as a toilet during yesterday’s Shamrock the Bottom festivities: LuLu is gonna get you! Anybody go? I didn’t go but reports from others were of large crowds and long beer lines.

Shamrock the block is Saturday

Organizers are saying that the beer trucks will be bigger and the lines not as bad as last year for the first outdoor festival of the year. Things start at 12 and close up at 6. Band List is below and the official website is right here.

Shamrock the Block set for March 13

Shamrock the Block 2010, Richmond’s biggest St. Patrick’s Day bash, is set for March 13 from noon-6PM at the 17th Street Farmer’s Market: bands, food, crafts, fun for the kids and of course, beers.

TODAY: Downtown Loft Tour AND Shamrock the Block

The Downtown Loft Tour 2009 will have busses and folks back and forth between 10AM-5PM today. Shamrock the Block will be going on from noon-6PM and will necessitate the closing of Grace, Franklin, and 17th Streets.
