Dragons on the James

Twenty paddlers, one drummer and one steersman will climb aboard 40-foot canoes with dragon heads and tails. This group of 22 will then attempt to beat other dragons in a  race of 500 meters up the James at Rocketts Landing on Saturday. Your chance to register has passed but you can go cheer on the racers, enjoy some food and other Chinese cultural events.  Races will be going on from 9:00 am to 3 pm.
