Happy Camper Fest looking for volunteers

Happy Camper Productions is looking for volunteers for our upcoming Happy Camper Fest!  Happy Camper Fest 2012 will take place at the Turning Basin in historic Shockoe Bottom on Saturday October 20 from 12-6.  Featuring phenomenal local musicians, awesome artists, creative crafters, food wizards, a canal run and a dog trick and costume contest, this amazing festival for all ages is free, though donations are happily accepted to benefit the Richmond SPCA and Communities in Schools of Richmond.  Not only does Happy Camper Fest benefit two great local charities, it also encourages healthy activities through the Canal Walk and Run and showcases many great local artisans, musicians, food vendors and other businesses growing and thriving in RVA.  There are all kinds of volunteer opportunities, shifts are typically 2 hours, and many opportunities are open to kids volunteering with an adult.  If you would like to help out, please let us know!  We’re happy to answer any questions, and if you need more specifics about what the different volunteer jobs entail, please contact Emily.
