Richmond.com on future dining options at Rocketts Landing

There is much more to the Richmond.com article but I’m cutting to the chase. What are we likely to see spring up out there?

Hensley (vice president of WVS Companies, owners of Rocketts) isn’t saying anything, as none of the restaurant deals are set in stone yet, but my sources are telling me that one option could be something like a brewpub (or American fare with a strong beer list, likely in the tunnels) and the other may well be an existing, award-winning restaurant that’s planning to move (maybe something with some southern flare?).

Hensley is willing to say that he’s interested in an Asian option and perhaps Italian to round-out the fare.

Rocketts’ future expansion plans will eventually go east and west, as the group owns property in both directions, but for this next phase, Rocketts is headed east, which will put these new spots in Henrico county.
