Authorities found blood on a bronze 2006 Honda Accord that was consistent with blood at the scene, where David M. Boyd and Brendan Ellis were struck after a brawl spilled into the street, according to a police affidavit filed in Richmond Circuit Court.
The affidavit identifies Jennifer Jon Stemp as the driver of the car and says that she was southbound on South 14th Street approaching East Canal Street when the fight “spilled into her lane of travel” about 2 a.m. Saturday.
Richmond police said Wednesday that no arrest has been made in the incident, and they declined to comment further. Attempts to reach Stemp were unsuccessful, and she did not appear to be listed locally. The affidavit does not state her age or where she lives.
