The hard working scientist at Shockoe Labs have a new version of calendar up and running. Please post your local events using this handy form.

Please only post events that are relevant to Shockoe Slip, Shockoe Bottom and our bordering neighborhoods. For example, the Biff and Buffy Shopping Marathon for Westend Children with Unmatching Socks that takes place in the Shortpump Mall, while a worthy event, is really not what we are looking to post. Examples of what we are looking for include but aren’t limited to; garage sales, church events, school events, plays, sporting events, and musical performances.

It can take as long as 12 hours or so from when you submit your event to when it will show up on the Shockoe Calendar. This delay is primarily the fault of Google but if you don’t see your event up after 24 hours drop me a line and I’ll see what’s up.
