Richmond Magazine.comhas the details on Poe’s owner, Mike Britt’s new restaurant, Mallory. What makes Mallory worthy of note is that it will be on a boat located at the Wharf Street dock. Britt is shooting for a Labor Day opening.
Steve Jurina, the head chef at Poe’s (also former partner at LuLu’s and former chef at Millie’s Diner), will be contributing his talents to the menu at Mallory’s, which Britt describes as mainly appetizers, cheese boards, salads and small plates, with some fresh fish, steamed shrimp and mussels. Because the boat’s galley is small, some of the cooking will be done over at Poe’s.
