Improvements Planned for Riverfront
The RTD article is very short on details.
The Richmond Intermediate Terminal, a popular fishing spot east of downtown, is being positioned for improvements that are expected to include parking, a wooden dock and eventually a restaurant overlooking the river.
The city plans to spend $750,000 in next year’s budget to upgrade public access to the site and to resolve a local family’s long-standing claim to a portion of the site, in particular the Warehouse No. 3 building, which sits over Water Street. The family of Richard Ripp has long planned to open a restaurant there.
