Friday Cheers Kicks off with Carbon Leaf

Is Brown’s Island technically part of the Shockoe News area? I’m not sure but for today it is. I’m told by folks that have lived here much longer than I, that RVA used to be a very big music town. After living here for 8+ years, I gotta say I don’t think it is a bad music town, especially in the summer.

This Friday at 6:30 Carbon Leaf kicks off the Friday Cheers summer session. This will be the first year that Venture Richmond will be charging to get onto Brown’s Island and the cost for this show is $5.
