Richmond.com on The Lunch Porter Closing
Richmond.com has the scoop that The Lunch Porter aka Savor will serve it’s last meal on May 1st. The Lunch Porter was one of the first restaurants besides Legend to open up in Manchester, now there is Papa’s Pizza and Croaker’s Spot. They’ve operated in that spot for 3 years and according to the article and is ”electing to close rather than buy out her business partner, Tanya French, wife of Richmond developer Justin French.” I will miss their daily grilled sandwich.
THAT is sad! I wonder how many other businesses Mister French’s crimes will affect?
This is horrible news! They have the best food and I love to eat there. Also, Chef Ellie is such a delight! So sorry to hear they are closing. I doubt, though, that this will be the last we hear of Chef Ellie!
Thanks y’all. We’ll miss our customers the most, now my husband will have to eat my food. :) Come on by before the end of April when you have a chance. I’m not going anywhere, staying in our fine city, keeping an open mind and reviewing my options, after all the dusts settle. Thanks!
