Hamaganza 2010 is Friday at Poe’s, Saturday at Capital Ale House

Hamaganza 2010 is TOMORROW, Friday, December 10 at Poe’s Pub and Saturday at Capital Ale House. This charity event benefits the food bank, bring a $10 donation or a canned ham to get into the show.

an night of live music, comedy, fire-juggling, glitter, friends, costumes, burlesque dancing, Santa sleds, cheering, art and of course hams.

Every December a group of Richmond celebrities, politicians, musicians and miscellaneous Richmonders get together (check ‘em out below) and perform a holiday-themed variety show to raise money and hams for the less fortunate in Richmond. It started 15 …years ago and has been growing stronger ever since. Last year Hamaganza collected about $2,000 and nearly 1,000 pounds of hams for the Central Virginia Food Bank!

And don’t forget… the one… the only (thank goodness)… Richmond’s favorite transvestite… Donnie “Dirt Woman” Corker!

Free admission with ham donation to the Central VA Foodbank or $10 cover. It’s a little raunchy and a lot of rock and not for the faint of heart. See u there!
