Robberies continue to be a concern in the sector. This time of year into the holidays traditionally brings an increase in robberies. With the time change and it getting dark earlier make sure you take steps to minimize becoming a victim when you are out. At stores park in well lit areas, be aware of what is going on around you. If something or someone looks suspicious don’t stop until you are at a safe location. Call the police as soon as possible. I have spoken to people that say they didn’t feel like “it was that big a deal”, “didn’t want to bother the police”.
